As a first step, the microbiological contamination level of the surfaces is measured by an ATP rapid tester. On the basis of the results, we develop a technological treatment proposal tailored to the customer.
Microbiological measurements
To determine contamination levels, samples are taken from high-traffic areas such as meeting rooms, common office areas, office canteens and kitchens, high-use surfaces such as doors and handles (especially entrance doors), counters, desks, chairs, taps, kitchen counters, sinks and toilets.
The measuring device enables rapid hygiene measurements. It can detect ATP/AMP (adenosine triphosphate/adenosine monophosphate) levels in a minute to indicate microbial activity on surfaces.

The treated area is prepared by ozone disinfection using our highly efficient OZONX - ITM ozone generators. The disinfecting effect of ozone complements and perfectly prepares the application of antimicrobial surface protection as it eliminates airborne pathogens from the treated area.
FLOW
The ozone generator will only work effectively if it delivers ozone vertically to the area to be treated. This is because O3 is heavier than air, so it cannot spread upwards. The efficiency of horizontally flowing machines is highly questionable.
OZONE DESTRUCT CYCLE
After ozone treatment, ozone decomposes to oxygen over time. To eliminate the mandatory health wait time and ventilation of the premises, OZONX– ITM has been equipped with an ozone destruct cycle.
TRACEABILITY
The ozone generator has a multilingual communication panel that allows you to follow up treatment.
QUALITY RECOGNITION
Based on the ozone machine rating system of the Hungarian Ozone Technology Association, the OZONX– ITM ozone generator has received the highest available rating of 5*.

3. Establishing long-term antimicrobial protection
The specificity and effect of the technology lies in the fact that it forms a so-called photocatalyst protective coating on the surface, thus significantly reducing the level of contamination. Using titanium dioxide as a catalyst, our coating achieves the desired protective effect energised by the presence of light. The coating system is incorporated into the surface at the molecular level, forming a protective layer on the surface for up to six months, thus drastically reducing the appearance of microbes.
Photocatalyst surfaces create highly unfavourable conditions for the development and reproduction of microorganisms due to three interrelated effects:

The photocatalyst effect effectively removes microscopic particles of organic contaminants from the surface, which serve as food for microorganisms.

Direct contact of microorganisms with the light-activated photocatalyst surface disrupts their cell walls as atoms of organic molecules interact with electrons and electron holes released on the surface of the photocatalyst nanocrystals.

NS365 coating does not contain any substances that most microorganisms could effectively use for feeding. As a result, light-activated surfaces where NS365 coatings are applied will not be colonised by pathogens.

At the end of the procedure, the same surfaces are sampled as before the treatment. If the cleaning indicators are not sufficient, we repeat the treatment.
The effectiveness of the coating system and treatment technology is guaranteed for 6 months, which can be monitored by the customer through measurements during the guarantee period.
